The Texas Music Gathering Association receives no money or other sponsorship in order to put on these shows. Volunteers are needed to keep the show going. Please feel free to contact us about volunteering for a show! Specific volunteer staff positions are listed below.

Performer Info

All genres and musical acts are welcome. No explicit lyrics. If you have any questions about your performance, please feel free to reach out to us.

Performers must play a musical instrument or have at least one live musician accompanying them. Backing tracks can be played as long as the performing act has at least one live musician. Multi-performer acts are welcome. No overlapping performers, one time slot per performer(s). If you require any special accommodations, please contact the Texas Music Gathering Association as soon as possible. Public parking is available at National Oak Park and performers needing to offload equipment will have an unloading/loading location nearest the stage.

Performer Info

Performers with time slots reserved through the online sign up will receive a follow up from us prior to the show to confirm your appearance. At that time, if you have photos, social media info, artist streaming sites, merchandise, etc., please send to us so that we can include it in our printed program. We will publish a program for the audience during each show. We will also have a table set up for any information or merchandise you'd like to bring with you to the show.

If time permits, we will open the show to those who sign up in person, the day of the show.

Performer Info

The City of Alvin Parks and Recreation Department has graciously provided National Oak Park as our venue. This partnership requires performers to sign up on their website. While I admit this can be cumbersome, once you create an account, you'll be able to logon and sign up for future shows with ease. National Oak Park is a beautiful outdoor venue with covered shelters, handicap accessible parking and restrooms.

Once you complete the City of Alvin Parks and Recreation online form and submit it, you'll have an account set up.then you can go to the 'Events' tab where you'll find 'Texas Music Gathering' and be able to select a date and time to perform. You are welcome to sign up for more than one month. Confirmation of your date and time will be conducted prior to your performance date. If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out to us.
